近日，弈之海资深学员，厦门外国语学校的戴文智同学参加了“希望之星英语短文演讲比赛”并成功晋级。他以《Dream it possible》为题，讲述了他学棋并获得棋协大师的经历。一起来欣赏……
Dream it possible
Just as Einstein put it, everyone has a certain dream which determines his direction of effort and judgement, which is full of logic and philosophy.
What is dream? Dream is the aspiration and pursuit of the future society and self development formed by people in the process of practice.
When I was a child, I was eager to become a chess master, so I decided to learn to play chess before I went to primary school. At first, I learned very quikly to know the rules about how to play and how to win the game. I thought this was quite easy. But just as the saying goes,'there is no simple thing in the world'. When I moved from primary level to a little bit higher level. I realized that it was difficult to beat every opponent in the world. You might lose the game again and again, so I needed to improve my skills. The only way to do this, is to train a lot and practice more.
When I was about nine, I went to Beijing to train with nation team. Although I didn’t need to go to school, the life there was not easy. I had to get up at half past six in the early morning. I had to sit in front of my desk to do a lot of drills. I sometimes wanted to give up because I couldn’t sleep until half past seven in the morning and all these trainings were so tedious. But I couldn’t give up, if I wanna become a chess master. I have to work harder and harder in the hope of achieving my dream.
As is known to all, everything comes to him who waits. in 2013, finally I won the first prize of the competition and finally achieved my dream.

梦想在前方
正如爱因斯坦所说，每个人都有一个梦想，这决定了他的努力和判断的方向，这个梦想充满了逻辑和哲学。
什么是梦想？梦想是人们在实践过程中对未来社会和自我发展的渴望和追求。
当我还是个孩子的时候，我渴望成为一名国际象棋大师，所以我决定在上小学前学会下国际象棋。刚开始，我非常快地学会了怎么下棋和如何赢得比赛的规则，我认为这很容易，但正如俗语所说：“世界上没有简单的事情”，当我从初级升到稍高一点的等级时，我意识到，要打败世界上的每一个对手是很困难的，你可能会一次又一次地输掉比赛，所以我需要提高我的技术，唯一的办法就是多训练多练习。
大约九岁的时候，我去北京和国家队一起训练。虽然我不需要去上学，但那里的生活并不轻松，我不得不在早上6点半起床，我不得不坐在我的书桌前做很多训练。有时我想放弃，因为我无法睡到七点半，而且所有这些训练是如此乏味。但我不能放弃，如果我想成为一名国际象棋大师，我必须更加努力，才有希望实现我的梦想。
有志者事竟成。2013年，我最终赢得了比赛的冠军，实现了我的梦想。
