I hooped in Non slip fast food shoes once, they werereally old and ratty and the front was peeling. A 10 year old did a cross overand I tried to cut him off and my entire foot came through the front of theshoe. I've never played basketball after that.

I think you have to account for context. Tennis is fullof white players, while basketball is full of black players. To old white men,that's a big ass difference.
